lyrics

As he clocks in once again
He remembers here he has no friends
He is inching closer to his end
And then he goes back home
To regret the place he chose to roam
And then next morning he’ll do it again

He’s forced to perform repetitious tasks
With a penalty for every question asked
For a price that hasn’t changed in so many years
All while under constant pressure from his peers
And for him nobody has respect
They think all that he cares for is checks
They don’t know the abuse that he goes through
And at the end of it all he gets no profit he’s just lining the pockets of you

When the wageslave walks away
You’ll forget the things you used to say
How everything he ever did was wrong
When the wageslave walks away
He thinks it’s a grand statement he’s made
But little does he know they’ll carry on
And any trace of him left will be gone
